WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump made waves last weekend by signing a historic receipt from Chili's Grill & Bar just ahead of President's Day, sources close to the casual dining chain confirmed.

"I hope the American people realize how unprecedented this moment is." said Secretary of Tex-Mex Joints Johnathan Schroeder, "No other President in American History has ever housed two Triple Dippers, a Sizzlin' Fajita, and a baker's dozen Margaritas of the Month. And he picked up the bill afterwards? This is exactly what Americans have been missing in a Commander-in-Chief."

Not everyone was impressed by the President's monumental signing, however.

"I just don't really see what the fuss is about." said local Chili's host Henry Johnson, "First off, you don't even sign the receipt anymore. You're supposed to pay on the tablet; everybody knows that. And I think he tipped like five bucks... on a $200 check? And you're the President? That's just wrong."

President Trump even had a few choice words to say during the signing, between tequila-laced belches.

"This place rocks." said the disgraced and shit-faced President, "They've got great apps, some say the best apps... I'm inclined to agree. And we've made a lot of great deals over the years, me and Chili's. Any two fajitas with rice and black beans for 20 bucks? I'd make that deal any day."

At press time, the President is choking out a server who suggested he use autopen.
